Michelvd No, the potentiometer is a part of the circuit (which is connected directly to mains power).

Michelvd It can work but you should be very careful not to overload the motor. If you have 220V AC, you can in theory supply the motor with 220V DC ! Also the current when you supply the motor with 130V DC and with the power of 2088W you are already above the 15A limit of this device (2088:130=16A). You need to make sure you don't supply more than 100-110 V DC to the motor to be on the safe side. Otherwise get a bigger controller or anoher motor :)

Michelvd If you use Windows you need a CH340 driver installed. On a MacOS or Linux machine you do not need drivers. Please check if the switches are pushed really to the end on the dipswitch. Does the powerled come on on the board ? You might have a defective cable. Download links for the driver and schematics and such are in the productpage.

Michelvd Just plug in a micro usb charger. The charge led will come on during charging.

Michelvd You can regulate the voltage on the output with the potentiometer (the knob), so should be no problem. The metal case is not connected to the live connections (at least not on the one I got), it is always safe to earth it.
