Laurie There is a lot of information about this tank if you search the forums at rcgroups.com. The one thing everybody seems to agree on is that you SHOULDN'T fit the metal tracks - they cause the drive sprockets and perhaps other parts to wear out very quickly, and make the tank perform worse, not better. The supplied rubbery tracks work very well and despite a lot of running mine are showing very little wear. I have ordered a spare set just in case. Love this tank - don't want anything to stop it!
