I'm really impressed with the design and construction of these truggies. I've put 2 packs through it with no problems. I disassembled the buggy after driving in fine sand and the gearbox was still clean inside and had plenty of grease from the factory. I can't believe how quick this is. It requires throttle control to drive, or it just spins in circles. I wouldn't call this a beginner vehicle, but it sure is durable. I tried a few different wheel and tire combinations and found that higher offset wheels really help this truck to handle a lot better. It was much more stable with buggy wheels. I also found pin style tires to be optimal for loose, sandy conditions. With a set of 1/14 scale truggy wheels/tires, this little truck handles like a legit race truck out of the box. I have several high end wheeler buggies and this little truck impressed me.

I installed 1/10 scale buggy wheels on this truggy. It handles much better now. I'm having a great time driving this little rocketship. 10 packs through it on rough, sandy dirt with plenty of jumps and flips. Nothing has broken. I used Velcro strips stuck to the chassis to hold the body on, just like my race buggies. those bodyclips get lost too easy, but the Velcro is working great and no more messing with tiny clips.

BG536416224@h3ndy87 These were some old mini pin Schumacher wheels I had laying around from my race buggies. You could use practically any 2.2 race buggy wheels, but Kyosho wheels are nice because they have the small 4mm hole that fits these little axles best.
