Loneman It's made from an alloy of chinesuminium, chinganese, jinkyzinc and a large percentage of knockoffalotium along with a small amount of nottalottacoppa. You know, the same quality stuff as in many of the Eastern "clones". ;D

Asked by Peregrin on 2020-11-11 02:48:23

vlgligor As mentioned by Peregrin in his review, is anodized aluminium, not copper, although in description is mentioned "hot block Nickel plating copper alloy". I would like also a clarification from seller.

Q: Is it a useful kit for drones?

Asked by jaimeportelat on 2020-03-02 06:08:15

vlgligor It has too many bits that are not at all useful for drones (probably just 4 to 6 bits out of 24) and is missing the hex sockets for M3, M2.5 & M2 nuts.I would be looking for something else to use with drones, or you should buy additional bits that are not going to fit inside the case.

vlgligor Max continuous current for Sunnysky V3508 700kv is 31A with a 1447 prop or 30.5A with a 1555 prop. With smaller props the max current will be under 30A all the time, so there should be no problem for this ESC to run it. Attention, the motor support max 4S LiPo's.

vlgligor I installed it together with a Kakute F7 HD flight controller + DJI FPV and iNAV (UART2 => GPS @ 38400 bauds, protocol UBLOX), is working flawlessly. Just follow the pin connections when soldering.

Q: Any soldening is required to connect ESC to FC and FC to DJI Air unit?

Asked by francescogola on 2019-10-12 06:40:16

vlgligor No soldering required on the FC if using just the Air Unit receiver (with DJI remote), as everything is plug and play. Soldering is required for: - motors and battery plug on the ESC (mandatory) - external receiver with third party remote (optional) - GPS unit (optional) - Buzzer (optional)
