Q: Which connector does Banggood define as a Male or Female?

Asked by john4565 on 2020-10-09 04:32:01

gbrookes Male is a pin, Female is a socket the pin fits in to. Same as everyone else does. @mikelopez, when you order you can select to get male or female connectors. Does it say in your order that you specifically selected male instead of female? Using both means connecting different things is much easier and safer with no bare wires or alligator clip connections...

Q: Do i use Elevon or V tail mixing on this or no mixing?

Asked by KiwiChristian on 2018-02-20 11:55:59

john4565 It depends which control head mode you choose to build; the mode shown in the first large image at the top of this page (the control arms at right angles) will not require any mix, whereas the mode shown in the second large image (control arms straight) will require an elevon mix. At the end of the day you want right aileron to make the right side of the rotors drop and down elevator will make the front of the rotors drop.

Q: Where is the CG located?

john4565 Hold the Luobo by the rotor head and the nose should be pointing slightly down (about a 15° down angle from horizontal).

john4565 I used a Racerstar BR2208 1400KV with an 8x4 propeller. My testing shows a current draw of 11amps at wide open throttle on a 3S LiPo. It performs very well in the Luobo.
