Q: How long does the battery last for?

ArtistsView Haven'tused for more than 4 hours at a time. Am going snowmobiling this weekend. Test 1: Regular AA, constant wear for at least 8 hours to the cabin. Test 2: Another 8-10 hours of riding using rechargeable AA's.

Lefty Using the supplied cable you can confirm connection through switch, hub, frame, ect.

Lefty The specs say, Rated power of 800w, and max power 1000w... So the formula for current is A=P div V which is 800 div 24 = 33.3 A or 1000 div 24 = 41.6 A They don't have the lowest-rated output but you could assume the power output is going to drop proportionately to the rotor speed. Being a permanent magnet alternator the voltage output will also be proportional to the rotor speed, and so at some point, the output voltage will drop below useful charging voltage. this would be determined by the type of battery being charged and the voltage needed to charge it.
