Q: Does this work as a gyro to? Sins it has aux for modes?

GroundControlRC It should be in auto-bind mode when it powers up. You just need to make sure you have the proper protocol setup on your transmitter and put the transmitter into bind mode. I hope that helps! Ground Control RC
