These Gemfam 7x5 props look to be out of older molds from an abundance of extra flashing along the leading and trailing edges. I removed it before balancing. Along the long axis the balance was quite good for both props received. However balancing along the short axis showed that the hole was severely not-centered. So much so that I added a small metal screw to the lighter side of the hub to achieve balance. I will not buy again from this source again.

Bound this Redcon 7ch RX with satellite to my Spektrum DX7 gen2 black TX. Confirmed that there are 7 discrete channels, and both RXs light up steady when using DSM2 only protocol. No issues at all with this item. Range testing and actual flying gets to wait until spring.

Very pleased with the value and flight quality of this DW Rainbow 800mm version 1 wing. I installed a Racerstar 2406-2300KV motor, on 3-cell lipo battery it is tuned for 150 watts. Q: what amp ESC can use 2300 kV motor ???

Curtis Depends on how close to rated 33 amps one will load the motor, of course. I am using a 30A ESC on 3-cells, but have it propped for only 156 watts at 14 amps. Plenty of safety margin..

I think that I will like this 2406S motor. Installed in DW Rainbow 800mm wing from Banggood.com. Measured 171 watts on 3-cells at 14.7 amps, CAM 12x12cm prop, ESC on default timing. Barely warmed up during bench testing. Plenty of room to enlarge prop and power input without stressing motor. Without prop installed, measured 1.5 amps at full throttle. Slightly down graded from small vibrations by motor. Overall design is excellent, and even includes 2 metal washers on prop shaft by retaining clip.
