Feels more like 8000lm on turbo; insanely bright long distance thrower with a very large spill. The way it fits in your hand and yet being super lightweight is amazing. 21700 Samsung 40T used without rattling or sitting loose in tube. Neutral white 5700k has the best tint of all the flashlights I own and I think the best option for this light if you choose. 100% satisfied with the smooth ramp and even the button is high quality... never any issue to double click to turbo...also easily mechanically locks out with a slight twist.

4000k cri 95 has a beautiful tint; very nice large hotspot and long throw.

Q: does this TA version have wire spring bypass on the coils? saw a video that showed the solid brass version had bypass wires so I'm wondering if this normal aluminium one has too?

First, update to firmware 1.96 and secondly...enjoy one of the best phone gimbal made. Small, lightweight and truly a pleasure to use for extended periods of time. Very simple to use interface and all modes are fantastic; especially follow and POV for fast action videos. Holds samsung Note 9 without any issues and the 21700 battery does last a very very long time. For note 10+ and super wide lens videos simply press the record button 3 times in follow or POV move to move the gimbal motor out of the way. P.S if POV mode and the roll is to much simply edit the gimbal settings to lessen the degree angle to 5 or 10 degrees and save your preset. Thank me later...

Ken_Nichols I ordered the 5000K but I'd say it's closer to 5500K. That being said, it's an awesome light and I am very pleased with it.

perfect charger, accepts very long protected 21700 cells and can charge two batteries at 1amp each or higher if plugged into a QC3.0 quick charger. Very lightweight and bigger than you think but batteries never get warm while charging and perfectly cuts off at 4.20v. for the price this just cannot be beaten!!
