Q: What is the cost of a battery for this 4” chainsaw and its chain ?

Grigoris0r20r It depends the battery. You can search here for a makita battery ( I use a 5ah makita battery and it cost about 25€) and the chain costs about 7€.

Grigoris0r20r At first you open the black cover on the left side of the tool. Then you loosen the screw that you see there and then you attach the chain. Then you tighten the screw and then attach the black cover and tighten the screw in place. Hope it helps.

Grigoris0r20r I believe yes. Because the 8 inch tool also says for the makita battery. So yes.

Grigoris0r20r It’s about a kilo I think. As for the battery life I’ve used it only for while so I can’t tell exactly.
