MountainSquid Not this model, bit for $1 more, the MC01 is. Also, the MC02 and the PD2 are power banks.

MountainSquid I wouldn't recommend either. Maybe cardboard, but anything any harder will rub the diamonds off in short order.

MountainSquid I saw no mention of such. I have been using mine for over two years and no problems mechanically. The bits rust at the touch of the slightest of moisture. Precaution must be taken if you like to ID your bits by their name. A light oiling may be the answer.

MountainSquid I mean, run it in and hand tighten. Is it too much work for you? The idea is to save time going in and out, not torquing to spec .
